Personal music may be listened to using headphones or earbuds; however, amplified music played through speakers or other devices is not permitted during Open Gym or a Rental. This helps maintain a comfortable and enjoyable environment for everyone using the gym.
Proper athletic attire is required while participating in Open Gym. Shirts must be worn at all times, and participants must wear appropriate athletic shoes. Shoes must be clean, dry, and non-marking to help protect the gym floor. Bare feet, socks without shoes, sandals, boots, and other footwear not designed for athletic activity are not permitted.
Participants are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and treat other participants and Park District staff respectfully. Fighting, threatening behavior, excessive profanity, harassment, or behavior that disrupts the enjoyment or safety of others is not permitted.
