Season & Hours
Most outdoor fields are available from spring through fall. Tennis courts are available spring through fall, weather permitting. Fields are available from dawn to dusk unless lighted facilities extend the window.
Winter field rentals are limited and subject to ground conditions. Contact the Park District for off-season availability.
Field Conditions & Closures
Fields may be closed after heavy rain to protect turf. The Park District of La Grange posts field status on its website and social media channels. Always check status on the day of your rental.
Weather-related closures initiated by the Park District of La Grange will result in a full refund or reschedule at no charge.

Choose a park, field type, and your preferred date. Resident league bookings open first each season.

Sign & Pay
Complete the rental agreement and pay your deposit. Field bookings are confirmed in writing.

Show Up & Play
Arrive on time. Bring your own equipment. Leave the field in the condition you found it.

What is the cancellation policy for field rentals?
Cancellations made 7+ days in advance receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 7 days of the rental forfeit the deposit. Weather-related cancellations initiated by the Park District of La Grange receive a full refund or reschedule option.
How do I know if a field is closed due to weather?
Field closures are posted on the Park District of La Grange website and social media channels. You can also call the Park District office on the day of your rental. The Park District reserves the right to close fields for safety or turf recovery at any time.
What does the Park District of La Grange provide vs. what do I bring?
The Park District of La Grange provides: The field or court, bases (baseball/softball), net posts where applicable.
You bring: Balls, nets, portable goals, lining equipment, and any other sport-specific gear. The Park District does not provide equipment rentals for outdoor fields.
Can I request that a field be lined?
Field lining is not included in standard rentals. For organized leagues requiring lined fields, contact the rentals team to discuss field prep add-ons. Additional fees apply.
Are league or season-long bookings available?
Yes. Leagues and organizations that need regular recurring field time can arrange block bookings. Resident league bookings take priority during the scheduling window. Contact the rentals team before the season to secure your dates.
