FOIA
The Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) gives residents the right to request records from public bodies. The Park District of La Grange honors all valid FOIA requests within the timeframes required by law.

Prepare Your Request
Describe the records you are requesting as specifically as possible. FOIA requests must be for existing records. The Park District of La Grange is not required to create new documents in response.

Submit in Writing
Submit your request in writing to the Park District of La Grange FOIA Officer at 536 East Avenue, La Grange, IL 60525, or by email to the Park District office.

Response Timeline
The Park District of La Grange will respond within 5 business days of receiving your request. Complex requests may be extended by an additional 5 business days with notice.
